We are happy to present the most recent Newsletter of the European Business and Biodiversity Campaign (EBBC) to you and hope you enjoy reading.

We are also pleased to announce an exciting event taking place at the beginning of 2018. The Global Nature Fund (GNF), the Belgian Federal Public Service for Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment, Université catholique de Louvain and IPES-food invite you to come together to exchange ideas relating to food sourcing and biodiversity by participating in the "Sourcing while respecting biodiversity: the case of food" event on 1st March in Brussels. We hope to see you there!

In it's new brochure the GNF summarizes the individual steps of the Natural Capital Protocol (Natural Capital Coalition) in German, complements them with its own experience in application and refers to databases. Baseline Report "Biodiversity in Standards and Labels for the Food Sector" now in Spanish

The Baseline Report, now available in Spanish, presents the results of a screening of 54 regional/quality, national, european and international Food Standards of the Food Sector as well as the analysis of procurement guidelines from food retailers. The report provides an overview on how protection of biodiversity is currently addressed in standards and company requirements.
